Direct Support Professional

Job Purpose (or description): The Direct Support Professional (DSP) is supervised by the Home Supervisor/QIDP. The DSP is responsible for supporting and implementing the person supported’s vision and outcomes per the Individual Support Plan (ISP)/Person Centered Plan (PCSP). The DSP will ensure agency compliance with policy and procedures to assure that the person supported is safe, appropriately supervised, and has the supports needed to live as independently as possible within their community.

Required Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or GED preferred.

High School Diploma or GED, or experience working with individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities.
