RESIDENTIAL SPECIALIST DSP in Pine Grove PA

Department: Supportive Concepts for Families
Location: Pine Grove , PA

  • We are one of the largest social service agencies in PA with positions available throughout the State. We have over 150 residential locations and over 900 employees throughout PA.

SCFF is currently seeking:

  • Full-Time and Part-Time Residential Specialists/DSPs to fill our OVERNIGHT positions in the Pine Grove PA area.
  • Sign-on Bonus: $1,000
  • Pay range from $15 to $19 per hour depending on experience, education and the needs of the person served.
  • Unlimited Referral Bonus – up to $1000 per person referred.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 18 years of age
  • Valid Driver’s license
  • Must be able to pass a physical, drug screening, and tuberculosis test and background checks
  • Must be available EVERY OTHER Weekend
  • Knowledge of and ability to work with individuals with IDD and Mental Health Diagnoses
  • Excellent communication skills and organizational skills/detail oriented.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist with activities of daily living such as proper hygiene, cooking meals, laundry, and cleaning.
  • Administer medications on time and document using our online system
  • Transport individuals to appointments and fun activities.
  • Maintain documentation of daily activities using an online system.
  • Effectively communicate with other team members and/or family members.
