Responsibilities:
As a Youth Support Worker under the guidance of our Program Director, you will play a vital role in creating a structured, professional, and nurturing environment for the youth we serve at Crossroads Programs, Inc. - Community Cares for Kids. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Collaborating with a treatment team to provide strength-based, family-friendly, and trauma-informed services to youth with complex behavioral health challenges.
• Designing and delivering individual and group psycho-educational and life skills activities that empower youth to develop self-sufficiency traits, skill sets, habits, and other assets.
• Conducting comprehensive assessments of youth's daily functioning to tailor services to their unique strengths and needs.
• Providing experiential, hands-on skill-building opportunities for youth to practice and develop valuable life skills.
• Serving as a mentor and driver, offering transportation services as needed and reinforcing daily living and socialization skills.

This is a dynamic role that may encompass additional assignments and tasks as required to support our mission of empowering youth to lead successful, fulfilling lives.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of two years experience (some program elements require a minimum of 3-5 years) working in a direct service capacity with youth in an out of home treatment setting.
• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Human Services, Psychology or Counseling is preferred.
