Seeking Full Time 5am to 1pm weekdays and alternating Saturday

Coras was Founded in 2021, as a limited liability corporation as a subsidiary of Conexio Care, Inc., CORAS Wellness & Behavioral Health provides a wide array of substance abuse and behavioral health treatment services, including but not limited to, MAT Services, Outpatient Services, Residentials Services, Sober Living Services, Primary Care Services, and other wellness and behavioral health services. We currently have 16 facilities throughout the state of Delaware.

We are actively recruiting for a Dispensing LPN/LVN. Below you will find some of the great opportunities you receive when you join our team as well as a short overview of the position. When this interests you apply and one of our team members will reach out to you. Currently we are seeking someone to fulfil overnight duties from 12am to 8am weekdays and weekends.

The Dispensing Nurse LPN/LVN is responsible for dispensing any medications the clinic may utilize in an outpatient addiction recovery environment which includes Methadone, Suboxone, and Subutex. This candidate provides basic medical care to clients while maintaining standards of professional nursing practice in accordance with CORAS Wellness and Behavioral Health’s policy and procedures and as ordered by the Medical Director or Physician, Nurse Practitioner, or Physician’s Assistant; responsible for thorough, accurate reporting and documentation of the client’s symptoms, responses, and progress. This candidate will also share responsibilities such as maintaining dispensing equipment, managing medication inventory, and reporting client treatment information.

Duties of the position:

  • Works under the supervision of Medical Director and the Clinic Director, provides daily assessment of clients and maintains practical nursing professional standards of care
  • Administers medications as ordered by the Medical Director or Physician accurately, maintains accurate accounting of all medication received (from supplier) and dispensed (to the clients)
  • Charts medication administration in Electronic Medication Administration Record accurately and documents nursing care provided in Electronic Healthcare Record accurately and in a timely manner, maintaining appropriate records related to client’s progress and activities
  • May be responsible for drug screen specimen collection and processing, reading test results as ordered by Program Physicians and the completion of all forms involved in these procedures
  • Complies with organizational policies, procedures, performance improvement initiatives and maintains organizational and industry policies regarding confidentiality
  • Communicates clearly and effectively to clients and their family members, guests and other members of the healthcare team;
  • Exhibits therapeutic rapport with clients maintaining professional boundaries, being respectful of personal space, giving clients direct attention while maintaining rational detachment;

Required Education and Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse licensure must be current within Delaware or Compact State
  • Prefer 1 year nursing experience in mental/behavioral health or addiction recovery field
  • Valid driver’s license in good standing with at least 3 years minimum continuous driving experience with no serious traffic infractions.
