Apis Services Inc. is currently hiring for a Cash Posting Manager.

The Cash Posting Manager will function with autonomy, diplomacy and professionalism within the guidelines established by this organization. RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOB AND ESSENTIAL ELEMENTS:

PERFORM AND/OR SUPERVISE ALL DUTIES RELATED TO REVENUE CYCLE

Assist with all fiscal matters relating to APIS MANAGEMENT SERVICES

Monitor and Manage all day-to-day fiscal services to include:

• Revenue Cycle
• Collection of services provided
• Interface with fiscal staff to ensure compliance of all requirements
• Assist the auditors in the annual audit process to insure all questions are answered in an accurate and timely manner
• Develop and implement programs to make certain APIS MANAGEMENT SERVICES. is in compliance with all fiscal regu-lations imposed by the County, State and/or Federal Government agencies
• Develop and implement initiatives to enhance the revenue cycle management process and drive financial performance
• Establish and maintain effective billing and collections procedures, ensuring accurate and timely submission of claims and minimizing denials and rejections.
• Develop, monitor and implement the month to month reconciliation of accounts receivable accounting packages
• Reviews billing/collection patterns and makes recommendations for corrective measurers
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operation, product and engineering, to streamline revenue cycle work-flows and resolve and operational challenges.
• Monitor key performance indicators related to revenue cycle management, identify areas for improvement, and implement performance improvement initiatives.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with the payers and insurance providers to negotiate favorable contracts and re-solve and resolve any billing and reimbursement issues.
• Create and maintain documentation, training materials, and resources to support the revenue cycle management team in their day-to day operations.
• Reviews departmental performance and ensures compliance with fiscal governmental reporting requirements, including tax reports
• Provides assistance to all management staff related to the performance of financial management matters

DEPOSITS

• Code deposits to appropriate accounts
• Enter deposits into Accounting System
• Check against general ledger

AGED RECEIVABLE REPORT

• Run an aged receivables report every Friday
• Research over thirty (30) day items and follow up with letters per IMS collection procedures
• Report details of receivables over ninety (90) days to Director of Accounts Receivable/Payroll

BILLINGS

• Progress billings to occur weekly and/or monthly depending upon payer and program
• All billings to be completed and reconciled by the 10th business day after end of month

OTHER DUTIES

• Assist with other fiscal duties as assigned by Fiscal Management

MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance or related field

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• Five (5) to seven (7) years experience working in a non profit organization
• Knowledge of human services financing and budgeting requirements
• Knowledge of tax and federal reporting requirements
• Knowledge of GAAP
• Knowledge of governmental accounting protocols, contract negotiations and preparation, and record keeping
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent computer skills
• Excellent writing, documentation, and financial skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Team Player
